2nd Breath Cycling Club
2nd Breath Cycling Club's affilliation to East Cape Cycling for 2011 has been accepted by the Exectutive
of East Cape Cycling. The club will cater for all ages of cycling, starting off by concentrating on youth cycling by coaching and providing expert advise to the young cyclist. The club is open to all ages for anybody to join.
We will be assisting young cyclist by means of organised training rides, coaching, bike set-ups, nutrition advice and support so that they can achieve their peak performance and enjoy their cycling while participating in group or team events.

Membership Structure and Fees for 2011
Membership is structured into two membership categories, Cycling Member and Non Cycling Member. The membership fees for 2011 is, Cycling Member R350.00 per year per person and Non Cycling Member R50.00 per year per person.
The following are the different benefits you receive by joining the club:
Cycling Member
• Obtain a CSA membership or Racing Licence for cycling participation purposes through the club. CSA fees payable is for your own account and not part of 2nd Breath Cycling Club Membership fee structure.
• Participate in club training rides where assistance and advice will be given to enable the member to improve their cycling.
• Backup vehicle assistance will be provided on training rides.
• Coaching and assistance given by Graham Todkill who is currently studying for a Level 1 Coach with CSA, and Wesley Todkill who cycles on a National level on the road and track.
• Participate in a training program according to your age so as to enable you to improve in your cycling.
• Youth cyclists (9 years to 18 years) will be able to use the indoor training facility at 2nd Breath Cycles shop after school as part of their training program.
• Youth cyclists (9 years to 18 years) will be taken to the track once a week during summer months for track practice and training.
• Youth cyclists (9 years to 18 years) will be part of a cycling team according to your age grouping which will participate in local events. National events will be considered depending on funds availability.
• Participate free of charge in the two compulsory racing events that the club must host as part of East Cape Cycling affiliation requirements.
Non Cycling Member
• You cannot obtain a CSA membership or Racing Licence for cycling participation purposes through the club
• You may obtain CSA membership if you desire to be trained and accredited in cycling administration, coaching, judging, timekeeping etc or any of the officials functions within cycling
• If you do wish to participate as a cyclist in any of the clubs cycling races, you would be expected to pay the entry fee as what a visitor would be required to do.
• As a parent you can join as a Non Cycling Member and have a say on behalf of your minor son/s and/or daughter/s in the running of the club.
General
• All members will receive discount on bicycle repairs and service when done at 2nd Breath Cycles
• All members have full voting rights and a say within the club.
• All members may be elected into the clubs committee in any of the official functions
• All members may participate in training rides with the club.
• All members receive backup assistance on training rides.
• All members must contribute and participate in the building of the club and sustaining it as a club of choice to join.
• All members will receive regular communication via email from the club pertaining to club news and provincial news

Sponsorship Needed
The club is looking for anybody that is willing to sponsor the club in any form. In return branding space will be given on club cycling kit as well as exposure on this club page of the web site. The club wants to take the youth cyclist as a team to events outside Port Elizabeth so that these young cyclists can grow and improve their cycling.
